Movie Summary

Released: 1991
The People Under the Stairs is the story of a young boy (Fool) from the ghetto and takes place on his 13th birthday. In an attempted burglary (along with two others) of the home of his family's evil landlords, he becomes trapped inside their large suburban house and discovers the secret of the "children" that the insane brother and sister have been "rearing" under the stairs. This is a real great movie. A instant classic!

I actually really enjoy this film believe it or not...it was pretty good! I remember Julia Roberts being the wierd house wife in it...and they fed dead people to these wierd zombieish things under their stairs..LOL

hmmmm i realy dont know if this could be scary or not judging by how noting really pops up at you like a knife to the eye but this movie was good but im not saying its bad it just didnt aim for the horror part nor thriller none the less it was a cool movie i would be suprised if they made a sequal i know the kids are deformed (under the stairs) but the movie does aim for action the dad is physco the mom is like the devil but it was an awsome movie
